Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Burch (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and chuito torres (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donovan Burch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
torres looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
The fight stays on the outside here - Burch looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Burch tries a head kick but it misses.
Burch tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but torres paws at him with a jab and circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Burch counters with a big head kick but torres shrugs it off.
Burch misses with a takedown attempt - torres sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Burch with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as torres holds on and takes a little breather.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Burch wants to stand but torres has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Burch shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. torres defends it nicely.

and Burch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

torres tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Burch just stands there and leans against the cage.
torres wants to get back to striking at distance but Burch won't allow it.
torres is trying to drag Burch to the mat but Burch just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Donovan Burch has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of chuito torres.

torres jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Burch walks away with a smile on his face. torres gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

and Burch holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Burch has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics torres uses from the top position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

and torres counters with a nice double leg into side control. Burch won't be happy with that.

torres takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
torres tries to close the distance and clinch up but Burch swats him away and circles back towards the center.

torres tries a body shot but Burch blocks it.

torres wants to get back to striking at distance but Burch won't allow it.

and torres holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
torres using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Burch has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

torres bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Burch's guard.

Burch is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because torres is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

torres wants to control from the top but Burch keeps moving.

chuito torres showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

torres leaves Burch with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
torres tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

torres is looking for a kimura but Burch is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for torres to get the leverage.
