The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Daniels blocks a head kick by Smith.
Smith throws a low kick but it's checked well by Daniels.
Smith is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Daniels tries to close the distance and clinch up but Smith swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Smith fails with the takedown.
Daniels looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Smith tries for a takedown but Daniels sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Daniels gets the takedown into side control.
Smith tries to buck Daniels off but Daniels is having none of it.
