Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Melton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Bobbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melton's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, The Bouncing Souls- The Gold Song. Andrew Bobbert has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with John Melton's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Melton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andrew Bobbert! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Melton closes this distance looking for a takedown but Bobbert circles away. Melton could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Bobbert swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Melton closes the distance and clinches up with Bobbert, looking for a takedown. Melton pushes Bobbert against the cage but Bobbert circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bobbert misses with a series of wild punches.
Melton changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bobbert tries to avoid it but Melton manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bobbert to the ground. Bobbert escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Melton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Melton fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bobbert avoids it really well and circles away. Bobbert jabs at Melton's body. Melton takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Melton tries for a takedown but Bobbert sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bobbert scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Bobbert throws a right and a left that Melton avoids nicely. Bobbert misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Bobbert stalks Melton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Melton's face. Melton staggers backwards, shaken. Bobbert swats away the attempt to clinch by Melton. Bobbert lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bobbert. Bobbert's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bobbert duly obliges. Bobbert throws a series of strikes that have Melton backpedaling.

Horrible takedown by Melton or perhaps it was just good defense by Bobbert which made him look bad. Andrew Bobbert seems to be getting the better of the standup. Andrew Bobbert showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Bobbert goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Bobbert leaves Melton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Melton takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

John Melton has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Melton walks into a left hand. Bobbert swats away the attempt to clinch by Melton. Bobbert swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
