Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Killstuff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitre Romanov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Romanov has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Killstuff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Dimitre Romanov! The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killstuff shoots for a takedown but Romanov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Killstuff decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Romanov is defending against the submission attempts here by Killstuff.
Killstuff looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killstuff looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Killstuff passes to full mount! Killstuff wants to take Romanov's back here but Romanov is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Killstuff wants to control the pace but Romanov is squirming around nicely. Killstuff has hold of Romanov's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Romanov manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Killstuff is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Romanov to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Romanov shrugs it off. Romanov in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Killstuff goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Romanov turns into him and now he's in Killstuff's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Romanov in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Killstuff is controlling Romanov's posture. Killstuff manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Romanov looks gassed! Killstuff shoots for a double leg takedown but Romanov sprawls well. He's pushed Killstuff's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Killstuff fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vladimir Killstuff. That's going to take a lot out of him. Killstuff scores with a takedown into Romanov's guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Killstuff is in close to Romanov's body, working some short punches and elbows. Killstuff really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killstuff gets to his feet. Romanov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Romanov throws a hook but Killstuff blocks it. Killstuff shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Killstuff was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Killstuff landing punches. Killstuff is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Romanov has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Romanov! Killstuff looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Killstuff working a defensive guard but Romanov manages to pass into side control anyway.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Romanov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Vladimir Killstuff dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Killstuff fails with a takedown attempt. Killstuff shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. No joy there for Romanov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Killstuff slips under a jab. Killstuff uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Romanov. Killstuff shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Killstuff showed some decent athleticism there. Killstuff uses his free foot to push down on Romanov's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Romanov. Killstuff working for a submission but Romanov is keeping him at bay. Romanov has left one of his arms exposed and Killstuff doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Romanov screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
