Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tayfun Turan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Saint Assassin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Tayfun Turan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Tayfun Turan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Saint Assassin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turan wants to clinch.
Assassin keeps the fight on the outside.
The fight stays on the outside here - Turan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Turan fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Turan tries to clinch there but Assassin circles away.

Turan misses with an uppercut. Assassin saw that one coming.
Assassin is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Turan's half guard.

Assassin throws an elbow but Turan slips to the side and avoids it well.
Turan parries the strikes from Assassin easily there. Assassin is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Turan to escape.

Turan is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Assassin off and has taken his back!

Turan is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Assassin is defending well though. Turan let's go of the attempt for now.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Turan is looking to control Assassin but Assassin is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Assassin is really stuck here.
Turan is trying to stick to Assassin's back but Assassin is turning into Turan. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Turan's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Assassin.

Turan has his foot on Assassin's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Assassin works his way back into a safe position though.

and Assassin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Assassin is working Turan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Turan wants to clinch but Assassin slips to the side
and Assassin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Turan's guard.
Assassin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Turan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Assassin has managed to get both his arms back between Turan's legs - danger averted.
