Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Abner Grayson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Leban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Abner Grayson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Leban! The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grayson just misses with a punch to the body.
Grayson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Grayson wants to control but Leban is keeping him busy. Grayson thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. You can see the frustration on Leban's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Grayson tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Leban is pushing Grayson's head away, looking to escape. Grayson manages to hold on to the position though. Leban tries to buck Grayson off but Grayson is having none of it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Leban prevents Grayson from improving position. Grayson is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Leban has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leban is looking for a sweep. Grayson wants to control but Leban is keeping him busy. Grayson is really struggling to control Leban but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Leban doesn't succeed with the takedown and Grayson counters by clinching up. Grayson keeps control of Leban as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Leban tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Grayson just stands there and leans against the ropes. Grayson jumps guard.
Leban makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Leban really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Grayson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Grayson is looking for a triangle but Leban pushes his legs off easily.
Leban controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Leban has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Grayson to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Leban is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Grayson pulls down on the head and he's put Leban to sleep! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Abner Grayson!
