Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between retreat walshy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, retreat walshy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Crusher! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Stewart Dunkirk and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! walshy scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. walshy thows a huge punch but Crusher dodges it nicely.
Crusher gets back to full guard.
walshy is looking to work some ground and pound but Crusher has wrist control. Crusher wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and walshy is now in half guard. Crusher has hold of walshy's hands but walshy slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. walshy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crusher defends it well. walshy prevents Crusher from improving his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher gets back to full guard.
walshy prevents Crusher from getting back to his feet. Crusher wants to sweep but no luck. walshy forces his way into half guard. Crusher controlling the position well. Crusher avoiding damage under a succession of punches from walshy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Crusher gets full guard. walshy won't allow Crusher to get back to his feet. Crusher manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Crusher wants to control the pace but walshy is squirming around nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. walshy can't escape the position.
walshy wants to hold on but Crusher pushes him away. Crusher unloads with some shots from mount but walshy bucks and avoids them well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crusher trying to control but walshy is having none of it. walshy is breathing heavily. walshy gets back to half guard. Crusher trying to control from walshy's half guard. walshy has other ideas though and has regained full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. walshy keeping moving, preventing Crusher from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
retreat walshy dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
walshy tries to clinch but Crusher moves out of range. Crusher doesn't succeed with the takedown and walshy counters with a single leg into guard. Crusher didn't expect that. walshy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. walshy wants to pass the guard but Crusher is keeping the position. walshy stopping the sweep attempt from Crusher. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Crusher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in walshy's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. walshy trying to control the position.
Crusher controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Crusher trying to control but walshy is working from the bottom. Crusher controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Crusher wants to pass the guard but walshy is keeping the position. Crusher looking to sit in guard and control but walshy gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Crusher trying to keep a closed guard but walshy is proving a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in walshy's guard. walshy is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Crusher trying to control but walshy is working from the bottom. Crusher thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Crusher working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Crusher forces his way into half guard. Crusher is thwarting walshy's attempts to control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Crusher performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
retreat walshy dominated that second round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! And we move into the final round!
Crusher tries for a takedown but walshy circles away easily and walshy counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Crusher preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Crusher working for a triangle but walshy defends it easily.
walshy passes Crusher's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Crusher is refusing to be controlled, as walshy sits in half guard. retreat walshy overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher pushes walshy off but walshy dives into side control.
Crusher tries to bench press walshy off him but walshy keeps the position. Crusher is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. walshy landing strikes. walshy working away. walshy in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Crusher trying to control but walshy flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Crusher preventing the rear naked choke attempt from walshy. walshy working for a choke but Crusher is defending well. Crusher rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crusher is staying active underneath walshy, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Crusher blocking the ground and pound attempt from walshy. Crusher regains full guard. Nicely done. Crusher is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. walshy tries to pull guard but Crusher won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Crusher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Crusher misses with a takedown attempt - walshy sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Excellent takedown into side control there by walshy. Crusher tries to buck walshy off but walshy is having none of it. Crusher is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but walshy has just dragged him back down to the mat. walshy is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Crusher knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Crusher struggling a bit here.
And that's the end of the fight! retreat walshy showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for walshy, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
