Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Obizoth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matt Bower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Obizoth! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Matt Bower! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Obizoth. Bower misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Obizoth tries to keep at a distance but Bower has taken the fight into the clinch. Bower jumps guard and drags Obizoth to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Bower looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Obizoth passes into side control.
Bower is trying to get back to half guard. Obizoth decides to take the fight back to the feet. Bower fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Obizoth, pushing him back against the cage. Obizoth wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bower tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Obizoth smiles and moves away.
Bower has a takedown stuffed. Alexander Obizoth has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Bower. Obizoth goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Obizoth throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Obizoth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters circling a little - Obizoth finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Alexander Obizoth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Obizoth misses with a wild body shot. Obizoth throws a head kick but Bower moves out of range.
Obizoth wants to clinch and Bower counters by moving into the clinch. Obizoth gets underhooks to prevent Bower's takedown attempt.
Obizoth misses with a punch on the inside.
Bower blocks an uppercut.
Obizoth wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bower wants a takedown but no success here.
Obizoth wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Obizoth can't break the clinch.
Obizoth prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bower is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Bower looking for a takedown. Bower looks gassed! Bower has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Obizoth avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Bower. Bower has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Obizoth is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Obizoth is looking to break free of the clinch but Bower has double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bower tries to pull guard but Obizoth holds him up against the cage and eventually Bower drops back down to his feet.

Bower is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Obizoth wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Bower breaks the clinch.
Obizoth tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Obizoth blocks a head kick by Bower.
Obizoth throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Bower drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Bower pushing down on Obizoth's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Obizoth is in trouble now - Bower has advanced to mount! Bower lands a big shot there that rocks Obizoth but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
A nice elbow there by Bower.
It looks like Alexander Obizoth has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bower tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Bower with the ground and pound from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bower controlling the position easily from mount. Bower's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Bower scoring with strikes but Obizoth is staying in there. Obizoth working to try and regain half guard.
Bower lands a heavy elbow.
Alexander Obizoth's cut is getting worse. Bower postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Obizoth looks a forlorn figure.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexander Obizoth's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
