The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chiddell lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Jones sprawling to the canvas. Chiddell follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Jones hang on?

Jones is trying to keep from getting into a worse position than he's already in but Jones is working away and isn't letting himself get tied up.

Chiddell wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Jones is trying to get back to half guard.
Jones wants to control but Chiddell postures up.
Chiddell tries to stand but Jones is controlling his head.
Jones throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
Chiddell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Jones on the ground.

Jones throws a left and a right that both miss
and Chiddell connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chiddell cracks Jones on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Jones falls backwards against the cage. Chiddell follows up with more strikes that drop Jones to his knees. Chiddell keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Jones! This one is all over!
