The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzales is looking to clinch.
Gonzales drops his hands momentarily and Cardoso takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Cardoso throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gonzales.
Gonzales fails with an attempt to clinch.
Cardoso throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cardoso ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Cardoso digs a good body shot into Gonzales's ribs.

Gonzales throws a shot from downtown. Cardoso moves away and avoids it.
Gonzales tries to close the distance and clinch but Cardoso swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Cardoso lands with a nice combination. Gonzales backs away looking to recover.
Cardoso throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Cardoso misses the shot to the body.
Nice shot lands for Cardoso.
Gonzales is rocked!
It looks like Migga Gonzales has been cut.
Cardoso fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Gonzales to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Gonzales looks to clinch but Cardoso throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Gonzales taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
