Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ben Ortiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ortiz killer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ortiz comes to the cage accompanied by Jesus Walks. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortiz shoots in for a takedown but killer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

killer scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Ortiz is not content to let killer control the position.

killer has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

killer closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Ortiz to the mat! Ortiz manages to get full guard.

Ortiz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. killer gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ortiz wants to get back to his feet but killer is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

killer postures up in Ortiz's guard and throws a big left but Ortiz blocks it.
killer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ortiz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

killer is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ortiz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ortiz has escaped and now he's on top!
killer wants to stand and escape but Ortiz is having none of it.

Ortiz gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Ortiz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Ortiz has one foot on killer's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.

killer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ortiz sprawls well initially but killer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

killer looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
killer wants to stand up but Ortiz has a hold of him and won't allow it.

Ortiz gets caught flat footed, as killer shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Ortiz will probably get the nod.

killer walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

killer wants to pass the guard but Ortiz is defending well.

killer is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
killer trying to control but Ortiz is having none of it.

killer has control of Ortiz's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Ortiz regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Well killer has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
