Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Benjamin Bruiser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Ignotus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruiser's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Judas Priest, Painkiller. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Bruiser! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ben Ignotus! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Marco Blurström and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ignotus drives through and clinches with Bruiser against the cage.
Bruiser has had enough of the clinch but Ignotus keeps him there for the moment. Ignotus changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bruiser fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bruiser lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Ignotus circles away quickly and effectively. Nice body punch from Bruiser. Bruiser looks to clinch and Ignotus decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bruiser's guard. Ignotus wants to control from the top but Bruiser keeps moving. Bruiser preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bruiser pulls Ignotus in close to prevent any damage. Bruiser keeping moving, preventing Ignotus from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruiser controls Ignotus momentarily but Ignotus frees himself. Bruiser looking for a sweep. Not yet Bruiser, not yet.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bruiser throws a series of punches but Ignotus avoids them all with ease. Good exchange - Bruiser coming out on top. Bruiser slaps away a takedown attempt from Ignotus, before circling back to the center of the mat. Ignotus dodges the punch combination from Bruiser.
Bruiser throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bruiser throws a leg kick and Ignotus makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Bruiser scores with a jab to the jaw. Bruiser's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Bruiser duly obliges. Bruiser closes the distance looking to clinch and Ignotus makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bruiser is breathing heavily. Bruiser tries to bum rush Ignotus with a series of wild strikes but Ignotus uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Ignotus fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Benjamin Bruiser has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ben Ignotus. Ignotus avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruiser cracks Ignotus with an open hand slap. Bruiser lands with a hook. Ignotus tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Bruiser misses with a combination
and Ignotus holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Ignotus wants a takedown but no success here.
Bruiser prevents a takedown attempt there.
Bruiser wants to get back to striking at distance but Ignotus won't allow it.
Ignotus tries for a takedown but Bruiser manages to get underhooks.
Bruiser wants to break free but Ignotus has control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bruiser stops a takedown attempt from Ignotus.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bruiser pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bruiser clinches. Bruiser struggles to land a body shot inside as Ignotus controls his hands.
Bruiser breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Bruiser closes the distance looking to clinch and Ignotus counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Benjamin Bruiser will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bruiser lands a jab to the nose. Ignotus shoots in looking for a takedown. Bruiser tries to sprawl out of it but Ignotus keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bruiser manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. A jab from Bruiser finds it's way through Ignotus's defenses. Ignotus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bruiser but Bruiser pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ignotus is looking to clinch. Bruiser is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Bruiser swinging wildly here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bruiser works over Ignotus's head and body with a nice combination. Ignotus tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bruiser counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That's one minute gone in the round. Bruiser gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ignotus counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bruiser! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Ignotus wants to take Bruiser's back but he can't do it this time. Bruiser is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bruiser is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ignotus working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ignotus prevents Bruiser from getting the reversal. Ignotus has hold of Bruiser's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bruiser manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bruiser regains half guard. Bruiser wants to improve his position but Ignotus is controlling well.
Ignotus uses his free foot to push down on Bruiser's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bruiser.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bruiser tries to get back to half guard but can't. Ignotus working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Ignotus looking to finish with strikes here!
Bruiser is squirming around, avoiding Ignotus's attempts to control the action. Ignotus raining down shots from the mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bruiser is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Bruiser blocking the ground and pound. Bruiser is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Ignotus throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Bruiser because Ignotus loaded up on that one. Ignotus trying to control but Bruiser is having none of it. Ignotus misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Ignotus looking to control but Bruiser is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Ben Ignotus will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Ignotus counters with a shoot takedown. Bruiser fights it but they end up in guard. Ignotus throwing strikes from guard but Bruiser blocks nicely. Ignotus seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Bruiser throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bruiser controlling the position. Bruiser is trying to control the position but Ignotus postures up. Ignotus got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bruiser has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ignotus has managed to get both his arms back between Bruiser's legs - danger averted.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ignotus shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bruiser manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ignotus is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Ignotus throwing strikes but missing. Bruiser tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ignotus looking to pass the guard. Ignotus with a flurry of punches that miss. Ignotus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bruiser looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Bruiser keeping moving, preventing Ignotus from controlling successfully.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Ignotus tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Bruiser moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ignotus steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bruiser. Ignotus feints and as Bruiser raises his hands in defense, Ignotus changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Ignotus has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bruiser avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Ignotus trying to control the position from guard on top but Bruiser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bruiser is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Ignotus slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Ignotus looking to pass the guard. Bruiser wants to sweep here but Ignotus controlling him for the moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ignotus stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bruiser swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ignotus trying to control the position from guard on top but Bruiser is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Ignotus on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. No joy there for Bruiser, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bruiser tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ignotus swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ignotus rushes Bruiser and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Ignotus lands a takedown into guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Ben Ignotus comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Ignotus has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
