Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimbo Tice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joakim Martinsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tice tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Martinsson paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nice jab there from Tice.
Martinsson shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Tice defends it nicely.
Martinsson misses with a takedown attempt - Tice sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Tice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Martinsson doesn't manage to clinch there - Tice circles away.
Tice tries to keep at a distance but Martinsson has taken the fight into the clinch.

Tice feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Martinsson holds on and takes a little breather.

That was a close round but I would say that Jimbo Tice will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Martinsson is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Tice is surviving well by controlling Martinsson's body position as best he can.
Tice reaches up to try and control the position but Martinsson seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Tice rolls and tries to escape and now Martinsson has his back!
Tice is trying to stand back up.
Martinsson is cranking Tice's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Tice! He's tightened the choke and Tice is tapping out!
