Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Martin Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cyril O Reily (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Stone might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to God Save the Queen. Martin Stone has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Martin Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Cyril O Reily! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! O Reily swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
O Reily closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Stone to the mat! Stone manages to get full guard. O Reily preventing the sweep. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Stone is on top in guard.
Stone is looking to stand up but O Reily won't let him. O Reily preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. O Reily looking to control but Stone passes into half guard.
O Reily is doing well to control the position and prevent Stone from advancing to side control. Stone not landing any meaningful shots this time. Stone missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. O Reily gets back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone gets to his feet - O Reily follows without any prompting. Stone stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Stone wants it to stay on the feet. Stone fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Stone throws a series of punches but O Reily avoids them all with ease. O Reily shoots in for a double leg but Stone sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Stone scores with a body shot.
O Reily on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. O Reily tries to clinch up. Stone connects with the punch. Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Stone shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Stone was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! O Reily is in all sorts of trouble here.
Stone controlling the pace for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone avoids the attempt from O Reily to control. Stone jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… O Reily is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by O Reily and Stone has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
O Reily is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Stone stands up and beckons O Reily to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Stone misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
O Reily blocking the ground and pound. O Reily tries to reverse the position but Stone maintains control. O Reily is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Stone misses with a head shot. O Reily is looking to improve his position but Stone isn't that keen on the idea. Stone landing punches. O Reily regains half guard. Stone wants to stand but O Reily has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. O Reily is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. O Reily is controlling Stone's position as best he can from this difficult position. Stone trying to control from half guard but O Reily is working away. Stone sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. O Reily defending well though. It looks like Stone is going to stand back up.
O Reily is staying active underneath Stone, who seems content to just control the action from this position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Martin Stone dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Stone misses with a wild combination.
O Reily stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and O Reily wants it to stay on the feet. Stone scoring well with a low kick there.
O Reily shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Stone napping and manages to drive through into side control! Stone takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
O Reily advances to mount. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. O Reily content just to control the position here. O Reily with the ground and pound from mount. O Reily controlling from the full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stone is trying desperately to improve position. Stone holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as O Reily tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
O Reily is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Stone has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Stone! Stone wants to get up but he can't break O Reily's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Stone postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. O Reily looking to hit a scissor sweep but Stone is one step ahead there. Stone trying to control but O Reily is working from the bottom. O Reily is looking to stand up but Stone isn't so interested in that idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Reily has his hands on Stone's head, controlling the position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Stone's corner calls for a 1-2. Stone obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Stone shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Stone wants to get back to his feet.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stone trying to control the action but O Reily is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Stone landing strikes from the mount and O Reily is in trouble! O Reily working to try and regain half guard.
Stone throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Stone prevents O Reily from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Cyril O Reily will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Stone misses with an attempted mid kick.
Stone lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Stone falls off balance throwing a combination
and O Reily counters with a shoot takedown. Stone fights it but they end up in guard. Stone is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. O Reily stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Stone swivels though and keeps the full guard. Stone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stone tries to get out of the position. Stone utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. O Reily is looking to advance position but Stone has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Stone misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
Stone looking to control but O Reily is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. O Reily can't escape the position.

Stone goes for an armbar but he's not got it… O Reily turns into him and now he's in Stone's guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. O Reily tries to free his leg and advance position but Stone is retaining full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as O Reily accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Stone wants to sweep but no luck. O Reily throws and elbow that misses. Stone uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in O Reily's guard. Nice move by Stone! Stone wants to control from the top but O Reily keeps moving. Stone wants to get up but he can't break O Reily's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. O Reily seems keen to control Stone's posture. Stone working some strikes from top position. O Reily has a closed guard, preventing Stone from standing up. O Reily wants to sweep here but Stone controlling him for the moment. Stone has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of O Reily is proving hard to escape from. Stone loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. O Reily working a defensive guard here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Stone trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Stone trying to control but O Reily is working from the bottom.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Stone looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. O Reily takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Stone closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stone lands in his opponent's guard. Stone throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Stone sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed O Reily's guard. Stone thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed O Reily's head.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Martin Stone. Well Stone has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
