The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Remigio feints and as Takahashi raises his hands in defense, Remigio changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

and Remigio counters with a three punch combo that has Takahashi backing up. Takahashi nods at Remigio to acknowledge the strikes.

Takahashi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Remigio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Remigio has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Takahashi defend it? Remigio steps over the head and cranks it - Takahashi is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Remigio!
