Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Harvok Swordstorm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rermes Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Harvok Swordstorm! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rermes Gracie! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swordstorm shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Swordstorm holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Swordstorm is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gracie can't fight it off and eventually Swordstorm manages to take the fight to the floor. Gracie looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Swordstorm trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Swordstorm has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Swordstorm gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Swordstorm misses with a takedown attempt and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into side control. Swordstorm won't be happy with that. Swordstorm is trying to improve his position. Gracie swings around for an armbar but Swordstorm sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Gracie's guard. Swordstorm trying to control the position from guard on top but Gracie is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Gracie has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Swordstorm is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Gracie.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swordstorm trying to control the position but Gracie is working away. Gracie is looking for a sweep. Gracie is not content to let Swordstorm control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Gracie tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Swordstorm wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Swordstorm doesn't succeed with the takedown and Gracie counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Swordstorm's guard now. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Harvok Swordstorm. That's going to take a lot out of him. Swordstorm is breathing heavily. Gracie sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Swordstorm's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Swordstorm has managed to free his arm - good work. Swordstorm has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Gracie is working away from the top position though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gracie stops Swordstorm from getting back to his feet.
Swordstorm tries to kick Gracie off in order to stand up. Gracie Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Swordstorm is defending well. Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Swordstorm gets back to half guard. Gracie is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Swordstorm is just riding it out for now. Gracie eventually gives up the hold. Swordstorm gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rermes Gracie dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Swordstorm tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Swordstorm misses with a few strikes there.
Gracie shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gracie prevents Swordstorm from improving his position. Swordstorm wants to control but Gracie is keeping busy.
Swordstorm really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swordstorm wants to get back to full guard. Gracie is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Swordstorm moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Gracie won't allow Swordstorm to sweep him here. Gracie wants to pass the guard but Swordstorm is keeping the position. Gracie postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Swordstorm is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gracie, into his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Gracie is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Swordstorm sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Gracie's guard. Gracie looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Swordstorm stands up and beckons Gracie to join him on the feet. Swordstorm decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Swordstorm is figuring out what he wants to do next. Swordstorm trying to pass the guard but Gracie defending well. Swordstorm trying to control the action but Gracie is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gracie actively working from the bottom here. Gracie has hold of Swordstorm's hands but Swordstorm slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Gracie is refusing to be controlled, as Swordstorm sits in half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gracie is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Swordstorm pulls his head out easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harvok Swordstorm dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Swordstorm tries to buck Gracie off but Gracie is having none of it. Gracie is working to tighten is grip on Swordstorm's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Swordstorm has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Gracie is really squeezing tight and eventually Swordstorm passes out! Gracie breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
