Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fedor Werdumov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Kranchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fedor Werdumov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Kranchenko! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Werdumov misses with an uppercut. Werdumov fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kranchenko misses with a takedown attempt - Werdumov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kranchenko leaves Werdumov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kranchenko will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kranchenko shoots for a double leg takedown but Werdumov sprawls well. He's pushed Kranchenko's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Werdumov shoots in but Kranchenko avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fedor Werdumov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kranchenko tries for a takedown but Werdumov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Werdumov connects with a right hand. Kranchenko shakes it off. Kranchenko stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kranchenko wants it to stay on the feet. Werdumov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Kranchenko. Werdumov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kranchenko tries to avoid it but Werdumov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kranchenko to the ground. Kranchenko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Werdumov tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kranchenko paws at him with a jab and circles away. Werdumov scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Fedor Werdumov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kranchenko fails with the takedown. Werdumov with a lazy takedown attempt and Kranchenko moves into the clinch. Werdumov is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Werdumov gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Kranchenko.
Kranchenko drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kranchenko is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Werdumov gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Werdumov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kranchenko wants to clinch. Kranchenko moves out of range as Werdumov throws a body kick.
Kranchenko tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Werdumov swivels and escapes. Kranchenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Werdumov rushes Kranchenko and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Werdumov breaks the clinch.
Werdumov is looking to clinch but Kranchenko is avoiding it.
Werdumov gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Werdumov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Werdumov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kranchenko circles away. Kranchenko misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kranchenko swinging wildly here.
Kranchenko decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Kranchenko wants to pass the guard but Werdumov is defending well. Kranchenko wants to stand up but Werdumov has a hold of him and won't allow it. Kranchenko is trying to work for a kimura but Werdumov is defending well.
Kranchenko not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Werdumov has one foot on Kranchenko's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Werdumov throws a right and a left that Kranchenko avoids nicely. Kranchenko shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Werdumov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Werdumov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kranchenko is controlling him. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kranchenko's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Werdumov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Werdumov on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Werdumov tries to get out of the position. Werdumov looking to control.
Kranchenko slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kranchenko wants to control from the top but Werdumov keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kranchenko prevents Werdumov from getting back to his feet. Kranchenko advances to half guard. Kranchenko wants to control but Werdumov is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kranchenko is stalling here. Werdumov is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Kranchenko seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Werdumov has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Werdumov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kranchenko on the ground. Kranchenko manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Kranchenko has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kranchenko misses with a head shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Vladimir Kranchenko will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Werdumov has his takedown stuffed and Kranchenko counters with a nice double leg into side control. Werdumov won't be happy with that. Kranchenko in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Werdumov is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
