Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rymy Eetu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Wolfgang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eetu fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Wolfgang throws a body kick that misses.
Wolfgang tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Eetu swivels and escapes.
Wolfgang lands a two punch combo.
Eetu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Wolfgang!
Wolfgang wants to control but Eetu is having none of it.

Eetu shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Wolfgang as he jumps to the side.
Eetu tries to clinch up but Wolfgang circles away and keeps his distance.
Wolfgang's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Wolfgang duly obliges.
Eetu clinches up with Wolfgang and pushes him back against the cage.
Eetu breaks from the clinch.
Dante Wolfgang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wolfgang lands a glancing blow to the side of Eetu's head.
Eetu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wolfgang, pushing him back against the cage.
Eetu wants to stall.
Eetu seems a little flustered. He's come in with the intention of controlling the clinch but Wolfgang is preventing him from doing so, at least for the moment.
Eetu is breathing heavily.
Eetu wants a takedown.
Eetu keeps control of Wolfgang as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Wolfgang wants to get back to striking at distance but Eetu won't allow it.
Wolfgang manages to break the clinch.
Eetu looks for a takedown but Wolfgang sprawls well.
Eetu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eetu lands in his opponent's guard.

Eetu stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wolfgang swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Eetu drops back looking for a leg! Wolfgang is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Wolfgang manages to kick Eetu off! Eetu jumps back into Wolfgang's guard.

Eetu lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Eetu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wolfgang.
Eetu tries for a takedown but Wolfgang circles away easily
and Wolfgang counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Wolfgang throws a right and a left that both miss.
Eetu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Wolfgang, pushing him back against the cage.

Eetu closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Eetu lands in his opponent's guard.

Wolfgang bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Eetu's guard.

Eetu tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Wolfgang wants to control from the top but Eetu keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Eetu looking to hit a scissor sweep but Wolfgang is one step ahead there.
Eetu can't keep his opponent in guard - Wolfgang advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Wolfgang wants to lay and pray for a moment but Eetu keeps working.
Wolfgang is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Eetu!
Wolfgang throws a solid leg kick but Eetu takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Wolfgang.
Eetu closes the distance and clinches up with Wolfgang, looking for a takedown. Eetu pushes Wolfgang against the cage but Wolfgang circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Nice defenses there by Eetu.
Wolfgang fails to land with a series of punches.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wolfgang makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.
Wolfgang manages to break the clinch.

Eetu tries for a takedown but Wolfgang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Wolfgang gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Dante Wolfgang will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Wolfgang misses with an uppercut. Eetu saw that one coming.
Wolfgang misses the shot to the body.
Eetu fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wolfgang sprawls well initially but Eetu persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wolfgang wants to sweep but Eetu has passed to side control!
Eetu tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Eetu has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Eetu doesn't manage to clinch there - Wolfgang circles away.
Wolfgang throws a leg kick but Eetu moved away.

Eetu tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Eetu has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Wolfgang sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Eetu is working for a kimura but Wolfgang is defending it quite comfortably.

Wolfgang is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Eetu's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Eetu's back!

Eetu is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Wolfgang gets his way!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Wolfgang is looking for a kimura but Eetu is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Wolfgang to get the leverage.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Wolfgang moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Eetu uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wolfgang.
Eetu looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Eetu is sitting in close to Wolfgang's body. Wolfgang has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Eetu is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Eetu is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Wolfgang.
