The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Magnus tries to clinch but Li moves out of range.
Li throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Magnus's waist but Magnus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Li off to one side.
No joy there for Magnus, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Li.
Fei Li seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Li looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Magnus is fending him off so far but Li persists. Nope, Magnus circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
