Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pavel Ramin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sal Crosby (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sal Crosby is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ramin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Crosby looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ramin moves into the clinch successfully.
Ramin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Crosby gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Crosby has Ramin pressed against the cage.
Crosby jumps guard but Ramin stands there with Crosby around his waist. Crosby gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Ramin lands a body shot. Ramin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Ramin tries to clinch but Crosby moves out of range. Ramin shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Crosby shoots and misses and Ramin counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Ramin wants to take a breather but Crosby is having none of it. Ramin tries to pass the half guard into mount. Crosby knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ramin controlling the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramin decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Crosby circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ramin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Ramin controlling from side mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ramin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ramin postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ramin taking a breather here. Ramin stands up. Sal Crosby seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ramin shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Ramin was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ramin controlling his opponent. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Crosby is trying to escape the mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Ramin looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Ramin landing strikes from the mount and Crosby is in trouble! Crosby is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Ramin looking to control but Crosby is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Crosby can't escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavel Ramin dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Ramin misses with a series of wild punches.
Ramin fails in his attempt to clinch. Crosby gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Ramin counters by moving into the clinch. Ramin breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ramin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Crosby fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Ramin sprawls well initially but Crosby persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Ramin gets back to full guard.
Ramin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Ramin trying to keep a closed guard but Crosby is proving a slippery customer.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ramin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crosby's guard. Ramin controls from within his opponent's guard. Ramin connects with a couple of short punches. Crosby wants to get back to his feet but Ramin passes into half guard.
Ramin winds up and cracks Crosby with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Ramin stalling. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ramin lands a nice short elbow. Ramin postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Crosby to stand up. Ramin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crosby tries to avoid it but Ramin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crosby to the ground. Crosby escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pavel Ramin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A big left from Crosby misses. Ramin tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Crosby throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Ramin counters with an outside leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby scores with a head kick.
Ramin lands a body shot.
Crosby throws a head kick that misses and Ramin counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Crosby tries to clinch up. Crosby tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ramin swats him away and circles back towards the center. Crosby leaves Ramin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ramin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ramin fails in his attempt to clinch. Crosby misses with a takedown attempt and Ramin counters with a nice double leg into guard. Crosby keeping full guard, as Ramin tries to pass. Ramin stays in close to Crosby's body and controls the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crosby is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Ramin is controlling him. Ramin won't allow Crosby to sweep him here. Ramin is standing up over Crosby. Crosby looks to escape but Ramin dives into side control.
Crosby takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Ramin cracks Crosby with a big right hand but Crosby just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pavel Ramin dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Ramin tries for a takedown but Crosby sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Crosby swinging wildly here.

Ramin misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Ramin fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pavel Ramin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Crosby moves into the clinch successfully.
Ramin pulls Crosby into guard.
Ramin is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Crosby is controlling him. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ramin utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crosby trying to control the position from guard on top but Ramin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ramin is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Crosby throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Ramin works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Crosby wants to pass the guard but Ramin is keeping the position. Ramin wants to get back to his feet but Crosby is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Ramin pulls Crosby in close to prevent any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Ramin with a lazy takedown attempt and Crosby counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Crosby wants to work for an arm triangle but Ramin is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ramin has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Crosby is working away from the top position though. Crosby wants to pass the guard but Ramin is defending well. Ramin is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Crosby's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Crosby's back! Pavel Ramin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Ramin keeps control of the position easily here as Crosby tries to buck him off.
Ramin's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crosby trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble. Sal Crosby has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! I really don't envy Crosby right now.
Ramin lands shots from the back. Crosby is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Ramin tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Crosby. Ramin is trying to control. Crosby wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Sal Crosby. Well Ramin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
