The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Vandelay.
Vandelay throws a body kick that misses.
Mode throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Mode tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Vandelay swivels and escapes.
Vandelay tries a low kick but Mode avoids it.
Vandelay misses with a low kick as Mode jumps back.
Vandelay buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Vandelay lands a big head kick that sends Mode tumbling to the mat! Vandelay takes a step backwards and waves Mode back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Beast Mode has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A head kick by Vandelay - that's a beauty! Mode is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Vandelay can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
