Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dmitry Dex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Benevidi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benevidi has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benevidi rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Dex moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Dex tries to clinch but Benevidi is having none of it.
Benevidi misses with a two punch combination.
A swing and a miss from Benevidi.
Benevidi shoots in but no luck this time.
Dex clinches up against the cage.
Dex drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Benevidi gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Benevidi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dex uses from the top position.

Dex lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dex accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Dex wants to control from the top but Benevidi keeps moving.

Benevidi lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Dex backs up against the cage.

I would just about give that final round to Jake Benevidi.
