Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Parker Sweley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Chip Endale! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sweley tries to clinch there but Endale circles away.
Endale closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Endale is taking a breather. Sweley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Let's hope that Endale has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Endale wants to control but Sweley is keeping him busy. Endale is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Sweley has managed to free his arm - good work. Sweley wants to get back to full guard. Endale wants to take a breather but Sweley is having none of it. Endale is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sweley doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Endale. Sweley trying to hold on to Endale's head to control him but Endale postures up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Endale closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Endale lands in his opponent's guard. Sweley looking for a sweep. Not yet Sweley, not yet. Endale trying to control the position from guard on top but Sweley is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Endale preventing the sweep. Sweley working a defensive guard here.
Endale wants to control from the top but Sweley keeps moving. Endale drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Sweley manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Endale has Sweley in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sweley throwing strikes from guard but Endale blocks nicely. Endale utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Sweley tries to free his leg and advance position but Endale is retaining full guard. Sweley is working hard here to advance position. Sweley throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Endale works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sweley is looking to work some ground and pound but Endale has wrist control. Sweley trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Endale is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Sweley wants to improve his position but Endale is controlling well.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sweley can't do much from the bottom here. Sweley tries to improve position but can't. Endale working away. Endale tries for a kimura but Sweley is defending well. Sweley sneaks back into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sweley wants to get back to full guard. Sweley won't allow Endale to pass to mount. Endale shoots in and bounces Sweley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Endale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sweley swivels though and keeps the full guard. Sweley looking to control.

You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Sweley. Endale is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sweley sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sweley throws a jab when Endale was well out of range. Endale closes the distance and clinches up with Sweley, looking for a takedown. Endale pushes Sweley against the cage but Sweley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Endale is breathing heavily. Nice uppercut there from Sweley. Parker Sweley is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sweley pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Endale is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Sweley throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Endale sees it coming and avoids it easily. Endale walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Sweley is looking to clinch. Endale moves out of range of the strikes. Sweley takes a swing at Endale's ribcage but misses. Sweley thuds his right hand into Endale's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Sweley wants to clinch. Sweley avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Endale staying out of range there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Endale moves forwards but Sweley connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sweley ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Sweley throws a looping overhand right but Endale ducks down to avoid it. Chip Endale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sweley lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Endale shoots in for a takedown but Sweley shows good takedown defense. Parker Sweley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chip Endale. Sweley is looking to clinch but Endale is avoiding it.
Endale shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Sweley's guard. Sweley looking for a sweep. Not yet Sweley, not yet. Endale ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sweley throws a nice looking combination but Endale bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Sweley darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Sweley throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Sweley loads up on a big right hand but Endale slips the punch. Endale closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sweley did well to prevent Endale getting side control. Endale looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Sweley throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. A punch lands to the side of Endale 's head but he takes it in his stride. Sweley throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
And that's the end of the fight! Parker Sweley showed his dominance in that final round. I think Sweley has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
