PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Vlad BrokkenHauser (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky Stinky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ricky Stinky was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stinky tries to close the distance and clinch but BrokkenHauser swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stinky throws a head kick that half lands.
BrokkenHauser swings for the body but Stinky moves out of range.
BrokkenHauser throws a leg kick which misses Stinky's front leg but catches the back leg as Stinky tries to avoid it.
A looping hook to the body misses from BrokkenHauser. Stinky does a little dance to reset his feet.
Horrible takedown by Stinky or perhaps it was just good defense by BrokkenHauser which made him look bad.
Stinky avoids a punch combination nicely.
Stinky dives in and grabs BrokkenHauser's left leg, looking for a takedown. BrokkenHauser pushes down on Stinky's head and hops out.

Stinky is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. BrokkenHauser can't fight it off and eventually Stinky manages to take the fight to the floor. BrokkenHauser looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now BrokkenHauser is on top in guard.

Stinky closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Stinky wants to lay and pray for a moment but BrokkenHauser keeps working.
Stinky creates some space and throws a big elbow, but BrokkenHauser sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Stinky has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

BrokkenHauser fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Stinky looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Stinky gets control of BrokkenHauser's arms and successfully pulls guard. Stinky will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

BrokkenHauser has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Stinky to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! BrokkenHauser is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Stinky pulls down on the head and he's put BrokkenHauser to sleep! This one is all over!
