Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Spencer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nic Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Spencer throws a body punch but Bravo moves out of range.
Spencer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Bravo instigates a clinch.

Bravo tries to pull guard but Spencer won't allow it.

Bravo turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Spencer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Bravo off and has taken his back!
Bravo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Spencer's guard. Nice work there by Bravo.
Bravo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spencer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spencer escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bravo gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Nic Bravo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Spencer's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Spencer stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
