Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between trent heskett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Terry Striker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terry Striker told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Terry Striker!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Winston Howard and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Striker lands the left hand.
It looks like trent heskett has been cut.
heskett shoots in but Striker avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Striker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. heskett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Striker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
trent heskett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Striker throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
No luck for heskett with that takedown attempt.
heskett shoots in looking for a takedown. Striker tries to sprawl out of it but heskett keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Striker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for trent heskett. That's going to take a lot out of him.
heskett is breathing heavily.
heskett looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Striker jabs at heskett's body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Striker lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Striker clinches up against the cage.
Striker pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Striker has managed to clinch.
Striker breaks from the clinch.
It's a brutal combination of punches from Striker! heskett is backing up but he can't get away as Striker lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops heskett and ends the fight. Great knockout.
