Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rock Mesnar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Eddy Spaghetti!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Spaghetti fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Spaghetti moves in looking to clinch but Mesnar pushes him off.
Mesnar closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Spaghetti can't break the clinch.
Mesnar has hold of one of Spaghetti's legs. Spaghetti is fighting the takedown attempt but Mesnar gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Mesnar trying to move into half guard but instead Spaghetti has managed to sweep!
Mesnar wants to stand and escape but Spaghetti is having none of it.
Mesnar is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Spaghetti defends well.
Mesnar wants to sweep here but Spaghetti controlling him for the moment.
Spaghetti trying to control the position from guard on top but Mesnar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mesnar is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Mesnar is edging up against the ropes. He's using the ropes to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Spaghetti is pressed up against the ropes. Mesnar has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Spaghetti down to the mat. Spaghetti avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Mesnar takes the fight into the clinch.
Mesnar has clasped his hands together around Spaghetti's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Spaghetti is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Spaghetti looks gassed!
Mesnar lands a decent elbow from side control.
It looks like Eddy Spaghetti has been cut.

That has opened up Eddy Spaghetti's cut even more.

Mesnar lands a strong strike to the head of Spaghetti. That's dazed him! Mesnar looking to finish here. Spaghetti is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mesnar lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
