Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brax Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marc Callaway! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson clinches with his opponent.
Johnson has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Callaway's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Callaway. Callaway closes the distance and clinches. Callaway on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Callaway breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Callaway throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Johnson. Johnson tries to clinch up and Callaway counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Callaway. Johnson trying to land knees to the body.
Callaway blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Callaway on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Callaway breaks the clinch.

Callaway shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Johnson as he avoids it easily. Callaway doesn't manage to clinch there - Johnson circles away.
Callaway shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Brax Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marc Callaway. Johnson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Marc Callaway seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Callaway looks gassed! Johnson tries to clinch but Callaway is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson looks to clinch and Callaway decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Johnson's guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Callaway doesn't defend quickly enough and Johnson has managed to lock this one up! Can Callaway escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Johnson on a fantastic submission victory.
