Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between benji ahr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Professor Fantastico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fantastico has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! benji ahr looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ahr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fantastico avoids it really well and circles away.
Fantastico looks gassed!
Fantastico loads up on a big right hand but ahr slips the punch.
A left lands for Fantastico.
Fantastico fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Some wild striking there from Fantastico.
Fantastico dodges the punch combination from ahr.
Fantastico tries to keep at a distance but ahr has taken the fight into the clinch.
ahr will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Fantastico up against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
ahr has control of Fantastico's left arm, preventing Fantastico from doing any damage.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
ahr is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Fantastico to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Fantastico shrugs it off.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

ahr unloads with some shots from mount but Fantastico bucks and avoids them well.
ahr has hold of Fantastico's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Fantastico manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Fantastico lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
benji ahr is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
No joy there for Fantastico, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Fantastico has eaten all the pies!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting ahr here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

ahr working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fantastico doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fantastico manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now ahr is on top in guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Fantastico is working an open guard so ahr takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

ahr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fantastico's waist but Fantastico gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing ahr off to one side.

ahr changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Fantastico tries to avoid it but ahr manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Fantastico to the ground. Fantastico escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for ahr, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
