Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gage Bonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastien Comeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonds comes to the cage accompanied by Breaking Benjamin - I Will Not Bow. Comeau comes into a darkened arena with his song building. The Canadian kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bonds takes the fight into the clinch.
Bonds pushes Comeau back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Bonds escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bonds moves into the clinch successfully.
Comeau is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

Bonds breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Comeau looks for a takedown but Bonds sprawls well.
Bonds rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Comeau moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Comeau shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bonds as he jumps to the side.

Comeau drives through with a takedown into guard.

Comeau thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Comeau stands and throws Bonds's legs to the side, diving into side control.
You can see the frustration on Bonds's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Comeau is trying to get an arm triangle but Bonds is defending well.
Comeau prevents Bonds from escaping the position.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Comeau thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Comeau working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Bonds is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Comeau is controlling him well.
Comeau sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bonds is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Bonds wants to get back to his feet but Comeau drags him back down.
Bonds tries to strike but it doesn't land.

Comeau is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bonds is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Bonds pushes Comeau away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Comeau gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Comeau tries to score with some ground and pound. Bonds controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bonds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Comeau on the ground.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Bonds managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Comeau.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
