Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Niels Bohr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burton Wheeler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Burton Wheeler has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Niels Bohr! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Burton Wheeler! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Anthony Taglia and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bohr shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Bohr was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! BOOM! Bohr connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Wheeler blocking the ground and pound. Bohr sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bohr throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Wheeler wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bohr.
Bohr trying to control but he's not successful this time. Bohr misses with a head shot. Bohr thowing shots but they're missing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wheeler really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Bohr controlling the pace for now. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bohr cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bohr landing punches. Wheeler is squirming around, avoiding Bohr's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bohr with shots to the head and body - Wheeler looks very uncomfortable down there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wheeler taking shots to the head. Bohr sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Bohr pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Bohr misses with a head shot. Bohr thowing shots but they're missing. Bohr putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bohr lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Wheeler is in a horrible position here. Bohr smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Wheeler wants to get back to his feet.
Bohr avoids the attempt from Wheeler to control. Bohr throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
Bohr lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wheeler can't escape the position.
Bohr throws some wild stikes that Wheeler manages to avoid easily.
Bohr jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Wheeler is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Wheeler and Bohr has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Bohr works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Wheeler looks gassed! Bohr trying to control the action but Wheeler is working from the bottom. Bohr sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Wheeler is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niels Bohr dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Bohr has Wheeler up against the cage in a clinch.
Bohr drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Wheeler gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Wheeler tries to break the clinch but Bohr is controlling the position. Bohr gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. A frustrated look appears on Wheeler's face as he tries to break the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bohr drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Wheeler is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bohr landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Wheeler is trying to force a seperation but Bohr has the dominant position. Wheeler can't break the clinch.
Bohr has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Wheeler is trying to keep an underhook but Bohr manages to get the takedown into half guard. Bohr scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Wheeler is trying to control but can't.
Bohr is trying to control. Wheeler wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Wheeler wants to get back to his feet.
Bohr is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Wheeler is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bohr misses with a head shot. Wheeler uses the momentum to regain guard. Wheeler keeping full guard, as Bohr tries to pass. Bohr is looking to work some ground and pound but Wheeler has wrist control. Bohr throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bohr throws and elbow that misses. Wheeler uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Bohr's guard. Nice move by Wheeler! Bohr looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Wheeler puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Bohr controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Wheeler seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bohr wants to get back to full guard. Bohr is trying to maintain the position but Wheeler is very close to passing his half guard. Bohr is trying to get back to full guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wheeler performing his best blanket impression for a moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Niels Bohr dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Wheeler has his takedown stuffed and Bohr counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Wheeler! A nice elbow there by Bohr. Bohr looking to finish with strikes here!

Bohr tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Bohr has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wheeler takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bohr is trying to get an arm triangle but Wheeler is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bohr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wheeler keeps working. Bohr misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bohr goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Wheeler rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Bohr's guard! Nice work there by Wheeler! Wheeler wants to stand but Bohr is controlling his posture from full guard. Wheeler not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wheeler stopping the sweep attempt from Bohr. Bohr manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Wheeler manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bohr accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Wheeler controls Bohr momentarily but Bohr frees himself. Wheeler is pulling down on Bohr's head. It's preventing any offense from Bohr, at least for the moment. Bohr wants to control from the top but Wheeler keeps moving. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bohr trying to move into half guard but instead Wheeler has managed to sweep!
And that's the end of the fight! Niels Bohr showed his dominance in that final round. Well Bohr has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
