Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Semshov looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Shackleford is fending him off so far but Semshov persists. Nope, Shackleford circles away and we're back to standing.
Semshov throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shackleford looks to score with a jab to the body but Semshov is just out of range.
Shackleford misses with a few strikes there.
Shackleford misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rusty Shackleford seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Semshov fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Shackleford lands with an uppercut that bounces Semshov off the cage and back into rage.
It looks like Andrei Semshov has been cut.
Semshov tries for a takedown but Shackleford sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Andrei Semshov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A big right from Shackleford misses.
Semshov throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
The fighters circle momentarily. Shackleford darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Semshov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Shackleford as he jumps to the side.
Semshov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Shackleford has cracked Semshov with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Shackleford lands another huge swinging hook and Semshov tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Semshov, before Shackleford can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rusty Shackleford!
