The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Wraith scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

The Wraith could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
The Wraith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Duke pinned against the cage. Duke gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

The Wraith stands up and waves to Duke to follow him.

The Wraith escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Duke gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The Wraith is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The Wraith wants to hit a switch here but Duke passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for The Wraith there!

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Duke blocks The Wraith's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
The Wraith manages to regain half guard. Good work.

The Wraith manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The Wraith is looking for the choke from the back position but Duke is controlling his hands well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Duke is in a bad position with The Wraith working for a choke. Duke manages to spin nicely into guard and the danger is over for the moment.
Duke won't allow The Wraith to sweep him here.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

The Wraith has hold of one of Duke's legs. Duke is fighting the takedown attempt but The Wraith gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

and The Wraith counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Duke's guard now.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The Wraith thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Duke is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! The Wraith rolls with it to try and escape but Duke cranks on the arm and The Wraith is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
