Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Royce Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tong Po!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Po tries to clinch up.
Gracie throws a leg kick but Po sees it coming and moves out of range.
Gracie keeps the fight on the outside.
Tong Po seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Some bone on bone action there as Gracie checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Gracie shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Po is trying to defend but Gracie finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Po creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gracie's defenses.
Gracie jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Po walks away with a smile on his face. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Po tries to clinch but Gracie moves out of range.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gracie darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gracie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Gracie working to pass to mount. He's got his hand pressing down on Po's thigh. Po counters though and makes it back to full guard.
Po wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.
Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Po slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.
Po has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gracie is proving hard to escape from.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Po gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Po wants to get up but he can't break Gracie's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Po gets to his feet - Gracie follows without any prompting.
Po moves in looking to clinch but Gracie pushes him off.
Gracie swats away the attempt to clinch by Po.
Po tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Gracie gets the takedown into side control.
Po avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Gracie.
Gracie tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Gracie has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Po regains half guard there - taking advantage of Gracie's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.

Gracie throws a strike but Po avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
Gracie has gone for a leg lock! Po slips out almost immediately though and dives into Gracie's guard.
Gracie is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Po is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position!
Gracie looking to hit a scissor sweep but Po is one step ahead there.
Po would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Po stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Po!

Gracie gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Po prevents Gracie from improving his position.

Gracie moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Tong Po comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Po has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
