Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasha Pavlenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Anderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasha Pavlenko! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The fight moves into the clinch position. Anderson tries for a takedown but Pavlenko manages to get underhooks.
Pavlenko is trying to break free. Pavlenko gets through Anderson's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Anderson trying to land knees to the body.

Anderson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pavlenko pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Anderson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pavlenko misses with the combination.
Pavlenko tries to clinch up but Anderson circles away and keeps his distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pavlenko throws a series of punches but Anderson avoids them all with ease. Pavlenko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Pavlenko defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Anderson. Pavlenko fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Anderson, pushing him back against the cage. Anderson is trying to drag Pavlenko to the mat but Pavlenko just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pavlenko prevents Anderson from breaking the clinch. Pavlenko wants to break the clinch but can't.
Anderson wants to break free but Pavlenko has control.
Pavlenko wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Anderson has Pavlenko pressed against the cage, preventing Pavlenko from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Pavlenko is trying to break the clinch but Anderson is controlling him. Anderson tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pavlenko smiles and moves away.
Anderson tries to clinch up. Pavlenko moves into the clinch. Pavlenko breaks the clinch.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Anderson is defended easily by Pavlenko. Anderson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Anderson is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Anderson working the ground and pound. Pavlenko is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Pavlenko tries to buck Anderson off but Anderson is having none of it. Anderson scoring with punches from side control. Anderson is trying to get an arm triangle but Pavlenko is defending well. Pavlenko is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anderson asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Anderson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Pavlenko, who protects the arm well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pavlenko is trying to buck Anderson off. Anderson working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Pavlenko is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Anderson asserts his dominance and retains side control. Anderson working the ground and pound but Pavlenko is defending the strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Anderson lands an elbow. Anderson blocks the strikes from Pavlenko.
Anderson tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Anderson has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Anderson working the ground and pound but Pavlenko is defending the strikes. Anderson goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Pavlenko has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Anderson but great work by Pavlenko. Pavlenko tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mike Anderson will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Pavlenko tries for a takedown but Anderson circles away easily so Anderson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Pavlenko is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Anderson content to stall in guard here. Anderson throwing strikes but missing. Pavlenko really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Anderson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pavlenko is looking to stand up but Anderson isn't so interested in that idea. Anderson lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Anderson content to stall in guard here. Anderson pushing down on Pavlenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Anderson looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Pavlenko on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Anderson is looking for a kimura here.
Anderson is thwarting Pavlenko's attempts to control the position. Anderson sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Pavlenko defending well though. Pavlenko is defending against the submission attempts here by Anderson.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Anderson misses with a head shot. Pavlenko uses the momentum to regain guard. Anderson trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Anderson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Pavlenko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Anderson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Anderson landing with the ground and pound. Anderson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Anderson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pavlenko trying to strike off his back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Anderson dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Pavlenko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Pavlenko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pavlenko fails with the takedown and Anderson decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Pavlenko's guard. Anderson drops back looking for a leg! Pavlenko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pavlenko manages to kick Anderson off! Anderson jumps back into Pavlenko's guard. Pavlenko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pavlenko wants to get back to his feet but Anderson is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Pavlenko has momentary wrist control but Anderson slips an elbow through the middle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Anderson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Anderson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pavlenko swivels though and keeps the full guard. Anderson showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Anderson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Pavlenko manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Anderson has Pavlenko in his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pavlenko is controlling him. Pavlenko wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving. Anderson wriggles free and stands up. Pavlenko fakes the leg kick and cracks Anderson in the body. Pavlenko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Anderson fails with a takedown attempt. Mike Anderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Pavlenko is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pavlenko can pounce on him.
No luck for Anderson with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mike Anderson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Pavlenko has Anderson up against the cage in a clinch.

Anderson is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mike Anderson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Anderson slips a nice elbow through Pavlenko's hands, connecting with Pavlenko's forehead.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Anderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
