Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pasha Pavlenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Anderson tries for a takedown but Pavlenko manages to get underhooks.

That was a close round but I would say that Mike Anderson will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Anderson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Anderson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Pavlenko is controlling him.
Pavlenko wants to control from the top but Anderson keeps moving.
Anderson wriggles free and stands up.
Pavlenko fakes the leg kick and cracks Anderson in the body.
Pavlenko sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Anderson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Pavlenko can pounce on him.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Anderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
