Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dan Hanks! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Igor Nabeatu! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hanks ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Hanks throws a series of punches but Nabeatu moves out of range. A shot to de liver by Hanks. Beautiful body shot. Hanks misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nabeatu misses with a takedown attempt - Hanks sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nabeatu stuffs the takedown attempt from Hanks. Hanks gets slowly back to his feet. Hanks jabs at Nabeatu's body. Hanks swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Nabeatu takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hanks fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Hanks works over Nabeatu's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Igor Nabeatu has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanks fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Hanks is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Nabeatu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hanks bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Hanks will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dan Hanks. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nabeatu circles away from the clinch attempt.
Dan Hanks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanks thows a body shot but no joy. Hanks swinging wildly here.

Hanks looks to land a combination but Nabeatu avoids it well. Hanks tries to clinch up but Nabeatu circles away and keeps his distance. Nabeatu shoots for a double leg takedown but Hanks sprawls well. He's pushed Nabeatu's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A punch combination from Hanks misses. Hanks misses with a double jab.
A looping hook to the body misses from Nabeatu. Hanks does a little dance to reset his feet. Hanks scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nabeatu doesn't seem bothered though. Nabeatu avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hanks throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Hanks cracks Nabeatu with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Hanks throws a series of punches but Nabeatu moves out of range. Hanks throws a right hand that Nabeatu ducks under and follows up with a left that Nabeatu also avoids with ease. Hanks lands a body shot.
Hanks looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hanks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nabeatu swats him away and circles back towards the center. The fight stays on the outside here - Hanks looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Hanks lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nabeatu circles away quickly and effectively.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hanks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hanks is looking to wear down Nabeatu with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Nabeatu with a lazy takedown attempt enabling Hanks to counter with a crisp jab. Hanks will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Hanks lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Hanks is looking to clinch. Hanks throws a right and a left that both miss. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nabeatu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Hanks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Nabeatu swats him away and circles back towards the center. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Hanks dominated that round. The cut man is working on Igor Nabeatu's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Hanks is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Horrible takedown by Nabeatu or perhaps it was just good defense by Hanks which made him look bad. Hanks lands a jab to Nabeatu's midsection. Nabeatu is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanks tries to bum rush Nabeatu with a series of wild strikes but Nabeatu uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Hanks wants to clinch. A nice combination there by Hanks.
Dan Hanks is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Hanks lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hanks rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nabeatu moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nabeatu avoids a punch combination nicely.
Nabeatu throws a leg kick but Hanks sees it coming and moves out of range. Nabeatu is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hanks is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Nabeatu. Hanks's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Hanks duly obliges.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hanks lands with a nice body punch. Hanks scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Nabeatu is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hanks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nabeatu is still on wobbly legs! Can Hanks finish him? Dan Hanks is winning the standup battle so far. Hanks feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Nabeatu crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
