Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Helber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carl Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Helber comes to the cage accompanied by War is coming. Rusty Helber has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rusty Helber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carl Foster! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Helber has a takedown stuffed. Foster rushes Helber and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Helber escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Foster misses with an uppercut. Helber saw that one coming. Helber tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Foster takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Helber displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Foster throws out the jab. Foster misses with a body kick. Helber gets a clinch. Helber drops down looking for an ankle pick but Foster pulls his leg out and moves away.
Foster misses with a straight right. Helber changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Foster looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Foster is trying to get back to half guard. Foster is not content to let Helber control the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foster can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster regains half guard, as Helber was trying to land strikes. Helber sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Foster defending well though. Foster blocking the ground and pound attempt from Helber. Foster blocking the ground and pound attempt from Helber. Helber lands strikes from half guard. Helber seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Foster does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Helber throwing shots but Foster is blocking nicely. Helber tries to pass the half guard into mount. Foster knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Helber throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Helber not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Helber is looking to stall here but Foster recovers full guard. Helber with a flurry of punches that miss. Helber postures up in Foster's guard and throws a big left but Foster blocks it.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Helber ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. The fight stays on the outside here - Helber looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Helber tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Foster was well out of range. Poor timing from Helber. Helber looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Helber is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Foster clinches but Helber breaks the clinch and Helber counters with a single leg into guard. Foster didn't expect that. Helber missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Foster is looking to stand up but Helber isn't so interested in that idea. Foster manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Helber tries to lock up and control but Foster gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Helber manages to regain half guard. Good work. Helber works his way to full guard. Good work. Helber looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Helber is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Foster wants to get up but he can't break Helber's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Helber pushes a forearm under Foster's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Foster is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
