Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between dave jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Rimmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jones comes into the arena with yes blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Ackerman and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jones keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rimmer does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
jones shoots in but no luck this time.
Rimmer tries for a takedown but jones circles away easily
and jones cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Rimmer has his takedown stuffed
and jones counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rimmer's guard now.
dave jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnold Rimmer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
jones passes into half guard.
jones tries to pass the half guard into mount. Rimmer knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rimmer can do anything to dispel that myth.
jones trying to control the action but Rimmer is working from the bottom.
jones has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
jones lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rimmer is desperately trying to improve his position but jones has a good base and remains in mount.
jones lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Rimmer hang on?
Rimmer looks gassed!
jones scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rimmer?
Rimmer is rocked!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jones is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Rimmer goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for jones!
