Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Eddie Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Whale Tonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs tries to close the distance and clinch up but Tonnen swats him away and circles back towards the center.

A frustrated look appears on Riggs's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Riggs stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tonnen swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tonnen lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Riggs!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Riggs is squirming around, avoiding Tonnen's attempts to control the action.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tonnen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Riggs walks away with a smile on his face. Tonnen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Riggs swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Tonnen is now in Riggs's guard. A big mistake from Riggs there, giving up the dominant position!

Riggs has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tonnen can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Well Tonnen has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
