Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edward Euros (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shawn Davison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Davison!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Steve Montenegro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Euros with that takedown attempt.
Euros tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Davison swivels and escapes.
Davison tries to bum rush Euros with a series of wild strikes but Euros uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Davison wants to clinch up but Euros keeps it at a distance.
Euros shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Davison pinned against the cage. Davison gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Edward Euros. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Davison looks to land a left hand but Euros moved out of range nicely.
Euros shoots in for a double leg but Davison sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davison wants to stand and escape but Euros is having none of it.
Davison really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Euros. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Davison is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Davison chips away with some ground and pound.

Davison throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Euros works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Davison closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Euros seems a little lost for a moment, as Davison dominates the positioning.

Davison is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Euros will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Euros is not content to let Davison control the position.
Davison might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Euros kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Davison throws a strike aimed at the side of Euros's head but Euros avoids it well.
Euros parries the strikes from Davison easily there. Davison is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Euros to escape.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Davison misses with a jab, cross combination.
Davison tries to clinch there but Euros circles away.

Davison stalks Euros and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Euros's face. Euros staggers backwards, shaken.

Davison feints and as Euros raises his hands in defense, Davison changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Davison wants to control from the top but Euros keeps moving.
Davison is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Davison's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Euros manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Davison is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Euros misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Euros cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
You get the feeling that Davison really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Euros looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Davison is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Euros is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Davison to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Davison shrugs it off.
Davison wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Euros.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Shawn Davison will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's time! Back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Davison seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Euros does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
