Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fabian Gammad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sunny Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Sosuke Kotani and Yuuki Gou.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gammad shoots for a takedown but Slade saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Slade shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gammad manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Slade trying to stand up but can't free himself from Gammad's guard.
Slade wants to stand and escape but instead Gammad has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Gammad makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Gammad throwing strikes from guard but Slade blocks nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gammad loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Gammad is looking to work some ground and pound but Slade has wrist control.
Gammad throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Gammad's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Slade is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Gammad keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Gammad has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Gammad tries to get to full guard but Slade has control of the leg.
Slade thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Gammad's head.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Slade lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Slade looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Slade is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Slade takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Slade wants to control but Gammad is keeping him busy.
Gammad regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Slade.
Gammad trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Slade trying to control but Gammad is working from the bottom.
Slade throws a strike but Gammad rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Gammad advances to half guard.
Gammad winds up and cracks Slade with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Gammad lands strikes from half guard.
Gammad is breathing heavily.
Gammad thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Slade keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Slade wants to get back to his feet.
Slade wants to control but Gammad is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sunny Slade dominated that round.

Gammad fails with the takedown
and Slade counters with a one-two to the body.

Slade lands a left and a right that send Gammad crashing to the mat, dazed. Slade thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Gammad is rocked!

It looks like Fabian Gammad has been cut.
Gammad looks up at the clock. Bad move! Slade lands a right hand from hell, dropping Gammad. Slade pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.
