Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Bombs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). White comes to the cage accompanied by Wees Niet Bang (Paz rmx). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, George White! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Bombs! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bombs throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Bombs lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but White circles away quickly and effectively. Bombs shoots in but no luck this time. Horrible takedown by Bombs or perhaps it was just good defense by White which made him look bad. Bombs throws a nice outside leg kick. A telegraphed takedown attempt from White is defended easily by Bombs. Bombs gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows White to score an easy takedown into full guard. White trying to control but Bombs is working from the bottom. Bombs trying to control the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as White accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. White chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Bombs can pounce on him.
Bombs looks to land a combination but White avoids it well. Bombs clinches. White tries to score a body lock takedown but Bombs shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bombs is trying to maintain a safe position but White gets an underhook and turns Bombs into the cage. Bombs escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bombs lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Bombs tries to score a power double leg takedown but White sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Bombs somewhat. George White has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Bombs. Bombs throws a combination but it was largely blocked by White. Bombs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

White looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. A head kick misses from Bombs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. White shoots in looking for a takedown. Bombs tries to sprawl out of it but White keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. A punch combination from Bombs misses. Bombs leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. White shoots in for a takedown but Bombs shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Bombs swinging wildly here.

White takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bombs connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Bombs leaves White with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. White is breathing heavily. Bombs tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but White paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bombs displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from White. Bombs buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action! Bombs throws a head kick that misses. Bombs connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Bombs shoots in for a double leg but White sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Bombs scores with a three punch combo!
Bombs has taken the fight to the clinch.
Bombs can't break the clinch.
White jumps guard but Bombs stands there with White around his waist. White gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
White tries to pull guard but Bombs holds him up against the cage and eventually White drops back down to his feet.
White tries to score a body lock takedown but Bombs shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Bombs is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bombs breaks from the clinch.
Bombs misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bombs closes the distance and clinches up with White, looking for a takedown. Bombs pushes White against the cage but White circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Bombs doesn't succeed with the takedown and White counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Billy Bombs dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Bombs with a lazy takedown attempt so White counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. White won't allow Bombs to get back to his feet. White passes Bombs's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bombs is trying to escape back to his feet but White uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Bombs is letting White control him for a moment. White is looking to take a break and control but Bombs is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bombs is breathing heavily. White looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's one minute gone in the round. White wants to control but Bombs is keeping him busy. White misses with the ground and pound. A lull in the action here as White stalls from top position. White prevents Bombs from escaping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. White slows the pace down. White trying to control the action but Bombs is working from the bottom. White wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bombs, who protects the arm well. Bombs is looking to regain half guard here but White keeps moving and retains side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bombs is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, White asserts his dominance and retains side control. White wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bombs keeps working. Bombs wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Bombs will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bombs throws a right hand that White ducks under and follows up with a left that White also avoids with ease. Nice body kick there by Bombs. Bombs shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. White shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bombs's guard. Bombs keeping moving, preventing White from controlling successfully. White controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bombs is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst White is controlling him. Bombs takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. White thows a big elbow that misses. White drops back looking for a leg! Bombs is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bombs manages to kick White off! White jumps back into Bombs's guard. White is stalling in the full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Bombs wants to stand up but White is controlling him. White trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bombs manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! White is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bombs defends well. Bombs won't allow White to sweep him here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bombs wants to get up but he can't break White's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. White working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bombs doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bombs manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Bombs showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bombs sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed White's guard. White moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Bombs wants to stand up, so he's looking to wriggle free of White's closed guard. He's half up but White has locked on to an arm! Uh oh! White pivots and extends the arm, Bombs falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by White! Well done that man!
