Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gideon Kane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DrOgHeDa McKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenzie drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Kane is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McKenzie is controlling him well.
Kane is working to avoid the ground and pound but McKenzie connects with a decent elbow.
McKenzie stands up and beckons Kane to his feet.
McKenzie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Kane sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
McKenzie tries for a takedown but Kane sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kane will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Kane is trying to force a seperation but McKenzie has the dominant position.
McKenzie is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

McKenzie has Kane pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kane manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Gideon Kane has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of DrOgHeDa McKenzie.
Kane wants to break free but McKenzie has control.
McKenzie pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

McKenzie's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

McKenzie shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kane pinned against the cage. Kane gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

and McKenzie counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Kane!

McKenzie has control of Kane's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Kane regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

McKenzie is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McKenzie is looking to take a break and control but Kane is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Kane seems a little lost for a moment, as McKenzie dominates the positioning.

DrOgHeDa McKenzie showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

DrOgHeDa McKenzie comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well McKenzie has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
