The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murray tries to clinch but Blimm is having none of it.
Blimm ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
A left and a right from Blimm both land. Nice combination.
Robert Murray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Murray will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
No joy there for Blimm, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Blimm scores with a spinning back kick!
Murray looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Blimm has managed to clinch.
Blimm drags the fight down to the ground.
Blimm lands a decent punch to the body there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blimm manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Murray manages to get himself to full guard.
Blimm stands up and waves to Murray to follow him.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Blimm has cracked Murray with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Blimm lands another huge swinging hook and Murray tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Murray, before Blimm can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Billy Blimm!
