Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between DeAndre Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dirk Ante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyson comes to the cage accompanied by Slam. Ante has chosen Da Mystery of Chessboxin' as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dirk Ante was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, DeAndre Tyson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dirk Ante!
The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ante misses with a jab, cross combination.
Ante misses with a two punch combination.
Ante will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Ante scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Tyson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Ante drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Ante wanted to stand there but Tyson had control of the position.

Tyson working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ante doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ante manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Tyson has his foot on Ante's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Ante works his way back into a safe position though.

Tyson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ante gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Ante is pressed up against the cage. Tyson has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Ante down to the mat. Ante avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Ante looks to land a combination but Tyson avoids it well.
Ante ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Ante lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Ante shoots in and drives through. Tyson sprawls well.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ante swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Ante shoots in but Tyson avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Ante will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Ante had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Tyson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Ante Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Tyson's back instead.

Ante looking to break Tyson's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Tyson remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Ante will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ante is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that DeAndre Tyson will probably get the nod.
