Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jr Wu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Penagos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penagos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Somebody Gonna Get Their Ass Whooped!. Carlos Penagos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Jr Wu's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jr Wu! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Carlos Penagos! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A punch combination from Penagos misses. Penagos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Penagos looks to score with a jab to the body but Wu is just out of range. Wu uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Penagos. Wu is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Penagos. Penagos scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wu doesn't seem bothered though. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Penagos misses with a few strikes there.
Penagos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Penagos throws a nice looking combination but Wu bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Penagos throws out a loose jab but Wu uses good head movement to avoid it. Penagos lands with a good body shot. Jr Wu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wu moves out of range as Penagos throws a body kick.
Penagos throws a right and a left that Wu avoids nicely. Penagos tests Wu's chin there with a solid looking shot. Penagos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Penagos wants it to stay on the feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Wu. Penagos does a little dance to reset his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wu. Penagos fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Wu on the side of the head. Penagos lands a big right hand that sends Wu crashing to the mat! Penagos stays standing though and waves Wu back to his feet!
Wu is rocked! Penagos connects with a stiff jab that staggers Wu - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Carlos Penagos!
