Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between BOB B (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and king kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). king kong is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, BOB B! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, king kong! The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! kong shoots in for a takedown but B shows good takedown defense. kong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches B napping and manages to drive through into side control! B could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. B stops kong from passing to mount. B is trying to control kong's posture but kong avoids it. The ground and pound from kong seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. B is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked kong off and has taken his back! B is looking for the choke from the back position but kong is controlling his hands well. B throwing wild punches that miss their target. kong tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! kong tries to lock up and control but B gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. kong is looking to improve his position but B isn't that keen on the idea. Poor strikes thrown by B there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
That's one minute gone in the round. kong squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.
kong is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. kong regains half guard. B is trying to control. kong wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. kong trying to control from the bottom.
kong wants to control but B passes into side.
kong wants to get back to his feet but B is dominant here and he's now got kong's back! B has good solid back control here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. B is trying to control but kong is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.
kong is looking to get to half guard. B working the ground and pound effectively.
kong tries to hold on but B postures up. kong bucks up and throws B to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape! B tries to clinch up but kong circles away and keeps his distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. B shoots in looking for a takedown. kong tries to sprawl out of it but B keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. kong manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. B tries for a takedown but kong circles away easily letting kong counter with a right hand. kong darts in and clinches B up against the cage. kong tries to score a body lock takedown but B shows good agility there to stay on his feet. kong pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. kong throws a head kick but B moves out of range.
kong keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from B. B has his takedown stuffed and kong counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for BOB B. That's going to take a lot out of him. B is not content to let kong control the position. kong postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for B to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. B tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. kong has managed to clinch.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! B is pressed up against the cage. kong has hold of a leg and is looking to drag B down to the mat. B avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. B tries to close the distance and clinch up but kong swats him away and circles back towards the center. B blocks a head kick by kong.
Some wild striking there from B.
B has his takedown stuffed and kong counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. B is breathing heavily. kong stalks B and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into B's face. B staggers backwards, shaken. kong throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck B on the side of the head. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. kong scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. B is refusing to be controlled, as kong sits in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. kong controlling the action here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
king kong dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
B tries to close the distance and clinch up but kong swats him away and circles back towards the center. kong shoots for a double leg takedown but B sprawls well. He's pushed kong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. kong shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches B napping and manages to drive through into side control! B is not content to let kong control the position. kong decides to stand up, so the ref orders B to his feet. kong drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. kong wants to pass the guard but B is keeping the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. kong throws a big right hand that misses. kong thows a big elbow that misses. kong stands up over B, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. king kong has got the better of the ground game so far. B lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for kong! kong tries to lock up and control but B gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. kong wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by B.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. B thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!

B wants to control the pace but kong is squirming around nicely. kong is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
kong tries to hold on but B pushes him away. kong flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
kong is desperately trying to improve his position but B has a good base and remains in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. B takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. B raining down shots from the mount! B lands with some strikes. B looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. kong working to try and regain half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. B putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! B looking to control and managing it successfully. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if kong can do anything to dispel that myth. kong reaches up to try and control the position but B seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! kong rolls and tries to escape and now B has his back!
B looking to hold on to the position here but kong rolls and ends up regaining guard.
kong is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. kong pushes B off and gets back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but king kong will probably get the nod - 10:9. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Nice work there by kong. kong preventing the sweep. kong trying to control the position from guard on top but B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. kong postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. kong wants to get up but he can't break B's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. kong works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. kong wants to lay and pray for a moment but B keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. B fails with the takedown so kong counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Both fighters are breathing heavily. B is trying to keep kong in close.
kong trying to control but B is working from the bottom. kong looking to sit in guard and control but B gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. kong wants to sweep but no luck. B has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's two minutes gone in the round. kong is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and B defends well. B trying to control the position from guard on top but kong is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. kong controls B momentarily but B frees himself. B trying to control but kong is working from the bottom.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. kong clinches but B breaks the clinch and B counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
That's three minutes gone in the round. B is looking to break free of the clinch but kong has double underhooks. B blocks an uppercut.
B is trying to break the clinch but kong has him pressed against the cage. B stalling against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. kong pulls guard. kong controls B momentarily but B frees himself. kong bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in B's guard. kong trying to control the position from guard on top but B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. kong won't allow B to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. kong trying to control the position from guard on top but B is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. kong loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. kong wants to control from the top but B keeps moving. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as B holds on and takes a little breather. kong pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. B is keeping the position for now. kong in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
And that's the end of the fight! king kong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well kong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
