Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Forrest Grffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Fisher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forrest Grffin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, George Fisher! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grffin fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fisher avoids it really well and circles away. Fisher tries to clinch there but Grffin circles away.

Grffin takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fisher walks into a stiff left hand from Grffin. Fisher tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grffin paws at him with a jab and circles away. Fisher tries a head kick but it misses.
Fisher attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Fisher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Fisher tries to clinch but Grffin is having none of it. Grffin lands with a thumping leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grffin is looking to clinch but Fisher is avoiding it.
Grffin blocks a head kick by Fisher.
Fisher closes the distance but Grffin moves to the side and Grffin counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Fisher darts in trying to clinch and Grffin counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grffin shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Fisher's guard. Fisher wants to get back to his feet but Grffin is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Fisher scrambles and gets back to his feet.

George Fisher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fisher is looking to land body kicks. Fisher tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Grffin fails with the takedown. Grffin rushes Fisher and presses him up against the cage. Grffin goes for a takedown in the clinch but Fisher prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Forrest Grffin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Grffin is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Fisher gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fisher is pressed up against the cage. Grffin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fisher down to the mat. Fisher avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Fisher lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! A head kick by Fisher - that's a beauty! Grffin is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Fisher can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
