The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elric shoots in but no luck this time.
Elric throws a hook but Chiba avoids it easily.
Elric shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Elric is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Chiba has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Chiba!
Chiba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Elric swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chiba drops back looking for a leg! Elric is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Elric manages to kick Chiba off! Chiba jumps back into Elric's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Elric can do anything to dispel that myth.

Chiba has an Americana. Elric didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Chiba is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Chiba hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
