The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Rand.

Bobles looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Rand is fending him off so far but Bobles persists. Nope, Rand circles away and we're back to standing.

Bobles manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rand manages to get himself to full guard.

Bobles jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Rand is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Rand and Bobles has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bobles looks for a takedown but Rand sprawls well.

Rand lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Bobles at a distance.

Bobles closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Rand really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bobles. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

You can see the frustration on Rand's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Bobles is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rand looks calm but he's in trouble here. Bobles gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rand is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Bobles lets go of the hold and Rand can pop his arm back in it's socket.
